URGENT APPEAL TO COMMUNITY
As the Muslim population of Ottawa continues to grow rapidly, the services and demands have increased steadily, and it became apparent that our current rental location is not sufficient to meet all the religious, institutional, and social needs of the community.
Along with offering various services, vision is to:

Build a Masjid, community center, and gym.

Establish an Elementary and Secondary Islamic school.

Facilitate a boarding madrasa along with higher Islamic education.

Inaugurate a Library with Dawa resources for all age groups.
-
Provide a place of refuge to upbuild social activities, sports, and events.
We need to raise urgently $500K to start the project. IF EACH FAMILY DONATE $1- $1000, we can easily accomplish, Insha-Allah.

DarulUloom has signed the offer for $995K and placed the deposit to purchase the property (1145 Pierre St) just 15 meters beside our current RENTAL LOCATION, while the asking price was 1.6 Million.
Property Info: A private lot with a 5000 sqft interior, and 50+ parking spaces. Newly renovated structure, both interior and exterior spent over $350K, including a new furnace, water tank, windows, flooring, and much more.
Currently, we are paying a monthly rent of $8,291 for DarulUloom’s CURRENT RENTAL LOCATION with an agreement for an annual 5% increase in rent. Moving forward, acquiring this property will allow us to save costs, and have a permanent place.
At this moment we urge everyone to: 1- Make dua to Allah, and seek tawfeeq of acceptance to do khair. 2- Place your share generously based on your ability. 3- Give a loan (Qad-e-Hasana) to DarulUloom for a short or long period. 4- Become an ambassador, and share the project info with your family, friends, and loved ones to take advantage of the opportunity in this great month of Ramadan.

Darul Uloom Ottawa (Masjid & Center) is a Registered Charitable Organization located in Canada’s capital, Ottawa, ON.
It was established upon observing the needs of the Muslim community to facilitate the programs that would offer a combination of religious, institutional, and social services.
Alhamdulillah, since its establishment, Darul-Uloom facilitates prayers, Dawah activities, Quran classes, Hadith lessons, and Tafsir sessions, as well as Darul-Ifta services, religious guidance, reliable fatwas, family consultation, youth counselling, marriage services, and much more resources to meet all the community’s needs.

Darul Uloom is pleased to take initiative by starting "PIZZA NIGHT to create LEARN WITH FUN" on the first and last friday of every month , starting from January 2023. Isha-Allah.
Purpose of this program is to create leadership and engagement for our children, especially to connect and bring our youth to the masjid, build a bridge and make the teens friendly learn a deen, get to know one another and make a good friends, share stories, and socialize to assist one another to be more better and greater.
-First Friday Night of the Months will be dedicated for the BOYS ONLY AGE 6+
-Last Friday Night of the Month will be dedicated for the GIRLS ONLY AGE 6+
